Golf - The sport for everyone

Golf has become one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Just in Orlando it has skyrocketed alone to an unbelievable amount of players. Why has this event flourished so much you may ask?

First off golf can be played by anyone at all different skill levels. Golf can be a father - son type event, grandfather grandson, or even a great grandfather great grandson type of event. It can be played by all age types. Golf would be considered a competitive sport by many, but it is mainly thought of as a social event where you can go out and have a good time. It is a sport where you can just relax, hit a few balls, and get away from the work day.

The key to golf is not about being the most athletic and strongest than everyone else, but it is about technique and discipline. If you build up that great technique and are very consistent then you will turn into a great golfer. Because it is more so a mind and technique game a wide range of people can enjoy the game making it popular among several demographics. Back in the days it was only a sport played by the upper class citizens, but now with the increased popularity, more courses have opened. Many prestigious courses still hold their membership and fees at a level so high many that many cannot afford it, but there are several course that are of affordable prices. Taking a putter out of the bag and taking golf a step down, Put Put golf has also risen substantially for the more affordable way to get the feel for the ball. Golf is the sport for everyone.
