Although pressure washers may be exciting there are some safety tips that need to be addressed and followed when using one of these high powered tools.

Personal safety:

Always read your owner's manual before using the pressure washer

The high pressure spray can cause a kick back to the user, so be prepared with a solid stance and grip on the handle

Always be on the lookout for signs and listen to noises that may be irregular

Do not touch the actual motor when running, as it will be extremely hot

Do not spray yourself or anyone around you in the eye with the nozzle

When spraying around electrical devices or power lines be cautious

Wear closed toes shoes and debris from what you are spraying may fly in your path

Always spray at an angle so the debris does not come straight back to you

Wear goggles so the debris does not fly into your eyes

When first operating the device on a new surface spray at an area that is least noticeable to test it out

Be SAFE!
